Individuals who qualify for this certificate can teach up to two credit-bearing courses in their Adjunct content area over an academic year. However, this certificate cannot be converted to a professional certificate. An application for this certificate must be initiated by the potentially employing district. Also, employment in a South Carolina public school is a prerequisite for the Adjunct certificate. Complete details about this program can be found on the Adjunct Teaching Certificate page.
